SPRAGGETT ON CHESS
My readers will no doubt remember Doris Giacomolli and her wonderful blog (see link). I wrote about Doris' work and passion in the arts (here) earlier this year. Today she has posted another of her paintings on the theme of chess, the 4th infact.
The painting shows 4 arabs about a chess board. The painting is entitled ''Pensando'' (translation: thinking). What is the best move? (1.Rh8 ch! Qe8 2.RxQ mate!)
